How to prepare?
Making Zawngtah Malta meh is easy but it takes time to clean the Beans as the cover which is green needs to be scrapped off, and the trim and then cut into desired size.
Clean the Havai zik, and keep aside.
Clean zawngtah (and cooking briefly in boiling .. /optional – You need to first scrapped off the green cover of zawngtah and removed/trimmed the sides of the bean as well. Now cut the bean finely. Boil water and pour it into the cut pieces cover for 3/4 minutes and drain the water).
Roast Ngathu and and Sapmalta (do not burn it) and grind it with salt.
Roast the perilla seeds with low flame and crush them lightly.
Now mix all the ingredients and its Ready.
You are done making the Zawngtah Malta Meh!!
