Do you like Tangkuangteh/Indian Pennywort?
Tangkuangteh is a local name for Indian Pennywort, also Known as Changkuangche/ Changkongche, spadeleaf, Brahmi/Brahma manduki, Peruk etc.
It is use as a medicinal herb in India, the full plant can be eaten, In Manipur we eat it raw – in salad/singju or make it as a hot side dish or simply boil together with other leafy vegetables for side dish, or as a soup.
Today, lets make a simple vegetable/herb soup ~ Tangkuangteh Tuimawl/ Indian Pennywort Soup
You Need ~
~ Tangkuangteh/Indian Pennywort
Clean the herbs with cold water and drain
In a pot boil the water then add the pennywort, cook for 7/10mins or till done.
Simple and healthy soup is ready!!!
(you can take out the leave and seasoned with some salt and chili flakes and can be used as side dish)
It is serve Hot or cold.
